Vintage Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche tuxedo jacket from the famous couturier's Autumn Winter 1988-1989 collection, which pays tribute to the artists who inspired Yves Saint Laurent during his career. From Braque to Picasso and Fernand Léger to Mondrian, the collection plays with the cubist geometry of shapes and colors. Jacket with long sleeves, black and white silk satin cut-outs in a cubist layout inspired by the work of Picasso. The large, pointed neckline at the front is fastened with a black shaped glass button, echoed by three identical buttons at each wrist. The dramatic effect is heightened by black fluted braid trimmings delineating the two-tone effect.
